How to find us

St Edmund’s College & Prep is set in rural Hertfordshire, but we’re well-connected to key rail and road routes, and all the London airports.

Please report to either the College or Prep School reception on arrival.

By road

Sat nav use postcode SG11 1DL or use Google Maps.

From the A10 South (London)

• Exit the M25 at Junction 25 and join the A10 north.
• Travel for approx. 15 miles.
• At the roundabout (which links the A120) take the first exit, signposted ‘Old Hall Green’.
• St Edmund’s College entrance is then the second turning on the right.

From the A10 North (Cambridge)

• After by-passing Buntingford travel for approx. four miles.
• At the roundabout (which links the A120) take the third exit, signposted ‘Old Hall Green’.
• St Edmund’s College entrance is then the second turning on the right.

From the A120 (Bishop’s Stortford)

• Follow the A120 until you reach its end.
• At this roundabout take the second exit.
• St Edmund’s College entrance is then the second turning on the right.

Parking

• Parking for St Edmund’s Nursery, Reception and Prep is located at the end of the drive on the left.
• Parking for St Edmund’s College and Sixth Form is located at the end of the drive on the right.
• Please report to either the Prep or College reception on arrival.

By rail

Ware Station and Bishop’s Stortford Station are approximately 15-minutes by taxi and provide fast rail connections into London.

By air

All of London’s International Airports are within easy reach by road:

• London Stansted Airport – 20 minutes
• Luton Airport – 30 minutes
• Heathrow Airport – 1 hour 30 minutes
• Gatwick Airport – 2 hours
